Client Background: Japanese Electric Manufacturing Location: Johor, Malaysia Job title: Printing Production Assistant Tenure: Permanent Salary and Benefits: RM2,500 to RM4,000 (depends on experience) Yearly bonus : We are seeking a highly motivated Printing Production Assistant. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge in machine printing production, specifically in 7-color printing, as well as experience in Konica Evo stamping process for up to 5-color foil. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of UV and coating processes. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain printing machines with different and color capacities Prepare machines for printing by installing printing plates with images to be printed Ink the presses, load paper, and adjust the press to paper ensuring that paper and ink meet specifications Guide paper through press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controls Monitor machine operation, make quick corrections to avoid losses of paper and ink, and correct paper tears or jams Pull sheets to check for printing imperfections and set up, monitor, and adjust the printing process on a control panel or computer monitor Perform preventive maintenance, oil and clean presses, and make minor repairs as needed Transfer files, blend colors, and proof images electronically using digital presses Qualifications: Fresh graduate are also applicable. Strong understanding of machine printing production, Konica Evo stamping process, and UV and coating processes Ability to manage overall maintenance of printing machines Knowledge in adjusting ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber Ability to identify and correct problems quickly and efficiently Excellent attention to detail and ability to pull sheets to check for printing imperfections Minimum education level of a high school diploma or equivalent Age below 40 years If you are interested in this opportunity, kindly apply EPS Consultants Malaysia
