A leading automotive company seeking a Process Engineering Manager to join the team Your New Company Located in Melaka, with presence in Malaysia spanning over 40 years, this company is a global leader in the automotive industry, supporting all major automomakers in providing parts with superior quality, technology and performance. Your New Role As a Process Engineering Manager, you will spearhead the process engineering team to focus on the continuous improvement of the various products in the plant. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the various departments to come up with standards and best practices to suit customer needs. What you\'ll need to succeed in this role Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering preferably in mechanical or chemical Minimum of five years process experience including at least two years at the supervisory level Supervisory/Management experience with strong leadership skills Thorough understanding of process equipment (automatic controls, metering systems, mixing systems, crushers, ovens, etc). Experience in the formulation of polyurethane foam Strong knowledge of urethane chemistry and its processing. Experience in project coordination and supervisory positions Ability to troubleshoot all process and production equipment failures logically and expediently Good computer skills such as AutoCAD, database, spreadsheet, and word processing software Knowledge of HS&E policies and practices and legislative requirements. Experience in starting new programs including AQP, VAVE and Quality requirements.
