  • Understands business needs and translates it into quality strategies and goals for SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services, enhances service delivery quality, mitigates risk, gains process efficiencies, and garners service recipient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive process excellence in SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services to deliver consistent and positive service offerings with minimal variation for simplicity and quality improvement.
  • Nurtures living culture of quality excellence in SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services community through effective stakeholder engagement.
Main TasksProcess Improvements and Project Initiatives
  • Continuously reviews and improves processes to ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Acts as a challenger to status quo, provides neutral evaluation on current processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives across the SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
  • Offers various methods for simplification, harmonization, quality improvement such as kaizen, lean six sigma etc., workshops facilitation.
  • Collaborates with Country teams and Hub teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement projects aligned with People Cluster APAC strategic objectives.
  • Explores digitalization and automation to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of quality management.
  • Champions and implements quality initiatives and change management, e.g., facilitating communities of practice etc.
  • Designs and establishes workflows and system platforms for effective quality management.
Quality Improvement
  • Supports SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services in developing and implementing quality strategies, objectives, and plans in alignment with People Cluster APAC goals and objectives, BASF governance framework and best market practices.
  • Assists the development and maintenance of quality measures for SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services. (internal performance measures and external key performance indicators framework).
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams on service offering development, process design, and service delivery, to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the entire process lifecycle.
  • Tracks and monitors improvement results (service scores improvement or efficiency savings).
  • Contributes to knowledge base in creating and maintaining quality improvement knowledge articles, such as quality manuals, policies, and procedures.
Process Excellence Community
  • Maintains strong relationships with HR Excellence Team
  • Liaises with others/ global/ other regions/ clusters in learning the best practices and align with global processes if best suited for APAC business needs.
  • Keeps up-to-date with market trends, best practices, standards, and regulatory changes, uses data-driven insights to ensure People Cluster APAC processes stays intact.
People Leadership
  • Represent SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services in process optimization topics, projects and initiatives in KL hub, APAC region and in global context.
  • Positively influences SDU Talent Acquisition, Development and Mobility Services and provides guidance, support, and coaching to help them achieve their quality goals.
  • Provides mentorships
  • Consistently demonstrates corporate values of Creative, Open, Responsible, and Entrepreneurial (CORE) on people leadership practices.
RequirementsEducation
  • Tertiary education, minimum Bachelor of degree in HR, Business Administration or other industry.
Working Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (Business process management, Lean Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, Kaizen etc.) or equivalent working experience
  • Familiar working with HR systems (SAP, ServiceNow and SuccessFactors).
  • Experienced in quality management of HR shared services and HR competence hub.
  • Good analytical skills & project management competence.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
  • Requires expertise and experience in quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Good general Human Resources skills and knowledge in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Excellent communication and people management/ development skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping applications.
  • Fluent in speaking and written English. Knowledge of any other Asian languages is advantageous.
