Objectives of the position Supports implementation of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategy in ensuring legal compliance, corporate conformance, and continuous improvement Supports upgrading of Toray BASF PBT Resins (TPBR) Process Safety and other EHS documentation. Performs day-to-day functional Responsible Care (RC) code tasks and drives follow-up of RC Audit recommendations Main Tasks Supports the corrective preventive actions process in case of non-compliances or incidents Supports the establishing of KPIs and following up the EHS improvement plan based on the direction of TBPR management Evaluate the progress and recommend changes in BASF requirements and guidelines to ensure the correct and consistent implementation of EHS strategies, goals, and measures. Perform or supports the analysis of EHS data and performance for continuous improvement activities. Supports the development of ER training modules provides ER training to TBPR staff as required by the management Support the development of EHS new requirements and successful practices Supports that all employees are made aware of the need for security through information and training. Follow up and ensure on time closure of all open items from annual Process Safety Management Review. Requirements Bachelor degree required in EHS, Science, Engineering, Production, Chemical or equivalent. At least 3-5 years working experience in production, engineering or EHS area. Proficiency in English and any other language. Excellent communication and management skill, familiar with local legislation system and legal requirements in EHS. Must have good understanding of scope and function of EHS concepts.
