Job Description

• Candidate must possess at least SPM/"O" Level/Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting system is added advantage.
• Having a background and strong knowledge of vendor sourcing practices in project engineering or construction will be added advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and conduct cost analyses.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conducting product research, sourcing potential suppliers and stock cost analyses.
• Sourcing materials, negotiate, price comparison quotations and offers from suppliers.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs, issue Purchase Order and Goods Transfer Note.
• Updating and track records of all orders, and stock received.
• Performing inventory inspections, reordering stock, and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
• Work closely with the Engineering team and Site Supervisor, following up on material orders or any delays that have been re-scheduled.
• Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and coordinating with logistic team and delivered to the project site in a timely manner.
• Maintain updated records (e.g. suppliers, quantities, cost) of purchased products, delivery information into internal databases.
