Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing Operations



Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with procurement policies and procedures. Ensure timely procurement of direct and indirect materials, services, and consumables. Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Resolve issues related to pricing, quantity, delivery, or documentation discrepancies.

Sourcing & Cost Management



Support sourcing activities including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP preparation, quotation analysis, and cost comparison. Assist in supplier negotiation on pricing, lead time, and commercial terms. Support cost-saving and supplier consolidation initiatives. Maintain sourcing records, supplier database, and price history.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management



Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and responsiveness. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Planning, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance, QA) to meet procurement needs.

Inventory & Compliance Support



Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock. Support inventory cycle counts and investigate variances. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO standards, and audit requirements.

Reporting & Documentation



Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP/MRP systems. Prepare procurement, sourcing, and cost analysis reports for management review. Support internal and external audit documentation as required.

Job RequirementsEducation & Experience



Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 3 - 5 years and above of experiences.

Skills & Competencies



Basic understanding of procurement and sourcing processes. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with positive learning attitude.

Added Advantages



Internship or experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain. Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Autocount / MRP). Exposure to manufacturing, MNC, or ISO-certified environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
