The Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure the company obtains high-quality materials and services at the best value. This role also ensures timely delivery of goods and compliance with company purchasing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approval and processing.
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support operational needs.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of goods and materials.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an updated supplier database.
Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and delivery orders for payment processing.
Assist in cost analysis, budget preparation, and purchasing reports.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Handle import/export documentation (if applicable) and coordinate with logistics for shipment arrangements.
Support continuous improvement in procurement efficiency and cost control.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (F&B or retail industry preferred).
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing systems/software.
