The Procurement/Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement process within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting negotiations to secure advantageous terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Procurement Planning:
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Develop procurement plans, considering factors such as budget constraints, project timelines, and quality requirements.
  • Research and stay informed about market trends and changes in suppliers to make informed decisions.
Cost Negotiation and Analysis:
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, striving to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and identify areas for cost reduction.
Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and execute procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and enforce contract terms, including penalties for non-compliance.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks in the procurement process.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization\'s interests.
Policy Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting procurement activities and make adjustments as necessary.
Vendor Relations:
  • Foster positive relationships with key vendors to enhance collaboration and resolve issues effectively.
  • Evaluate and onboard new vendors when necessary.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize data and analytics to track key procurement metrics and assess performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Able to work in PJ
