Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Job Responsibilities

Monitor supplier performance, ensuring products meet required quality standards and are delivered on time. Utilize advanced negotiation skills to secure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring long-term value while preserving strong and collaborative supplier relationships. Develop and implement supplier improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance optimization. Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, while proactively addressing supply shortages and quality issues. Accurately calculate material requirements and issue Purchase Orders with correct quantities and pricing, ensuring adherence to lead times upon receipt of purchase requests. Proactively collaborate with internal teams, including Production and Warehouse departments, to ensure timely procurement, quality control, proper storage, and on-schedule delivery of goods Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable delivery schedules, minimum order quantities, and payment terms that align with the company's strategic and financial objectives. Any additional responsibilities/ tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within the fittings & accessories, manufacturing, or interior design industries is an advantage. Strong negotiation skills and resourcefulness in sourcing new suppliers. Demonstrated experience in liaising with suppliers, internal customers, and inventory planning. Detail-oriented with a quick learning ability. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves frequent communication with suppliers from China. Available to start immediately or within one month's notice.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
