Responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, products, and services; negotiating contracts; and ensuring that all approved purchases are cost-efficient, timely, and of high quality.

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors. Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure compliance with required technical specifications and commercial terms. Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on purchasing terms and conditions. Manage daily procurement operations, including planning, issuing, and monitoring Purchase Orders, as well as coordinating delivery and shipment schedules. Resolve issues related to supply, quality, service, and invoicing with vendors. Assist in the annual ISO vendor performance review. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery reliability, pricing, and overall service, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and expectations. Implement procurement strategies to meet requirements involving high delivery volume and short lead times. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience in the construction industry or a related field. Pleasant personality with excellent negotiation, leadership, and supplier management skills. Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and communication skills.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
