Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Job Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure products consistently meet required quality standards and are delivered in accordance with agreed timelines and contractual obligations. Utilize advanced negotiation skills to secure mutually beneficial agreements while fostering and maintaining strong, long-term supplier relationships. Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, reliability, and adherence to quality standards. Proactively address and resolve supply shortages, delivery delays, or quality issues to maintain uninterrupted production and service levels. Develop and implement supplier improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance optimization. Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable delivery schedules, optimal minimum order quantities, and payment terms aligned with the company's strategic and financial objectives. Accurately determine material requirements and generate Purchase Orders with precise quantities and pricing, ensuring compliance with lead times and company procurement policies upon receipt of purchase requests. Collaborate proactively with internal teams, including production and warehouse departments, to ensure the timely procurement, quality control, proper storage, and on-schedule delivery of goods. Any additional responsibilities/ tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within the fittings & accessories, manufacturing, or interior design industries is an advantage. Strong negotiation skills and resourcefulness in sourcing new suppliers. Demonstrated experience in liaising with suppliers, internal customers, and inventory planning. Detail-oriented with a quick learning ability. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves frequent communication with suppliers from China. Available to start immediately or within one month's notice.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
