Job Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing and facilitating the procurement process within the organization. To ensure that the organization obtains the necessary goods and services in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualification & Requirement:

Possess at least Diploma/Degree in any related discipline, or equivalent. At least 3 - 5 year(s) of working experience in construction OR similar industry. Good communication skills. Proficient in Mandarin would be an advantage. Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong negotiation, organizational and time management skills. Willing to be relocated to Sibu, Sarawak. Applicants from Sibu, Sarawak will be given a priority.

Main Responsibilities:

To manage procurement workflow including requesting quotations, sourcing new vendors, negotiating prices, and preparations of quotation summary. Preparing PR/PO and getting the approval based on the Discretionary Authority Limit (DAL). Tracking Purchase Orders and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods from vendors. Overseeing import shipments by coordinating with forwarding agents. Perform receiving upon received of "Delivery order" Validating and submitting invoices for payment, collaborating with the Accounts team to ensure timely payment to vendors and forwarders. To maintain regular and accurate filling and documentation of procurement records. To carry out such duties and job functions as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Superior and such duties are not necessarily limited to the above title and responsibilities and may be subject to changes.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
