Job Summary - Procurement Officer

Ensures employer obtains quality products for competitive prices in a timely given. Plays an integral role in ensuring a company sticks to budgets and operates profitably.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints Identify and source new suppliers and vendors Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors Negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements Facilitate timely placement of purchase orders Review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policy and procedure. File data and related information, maintain and update databases. Support procurement departments with administration work Follow instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by your Head of Department.

Education and Experience

Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Materials Management or related field Welcome Fresh Graduates with or without experience, training will be provided. working knowledge of all laws and regulations relating to procurement and contract Good command of English and Malay with acceptable communication writing skills Required skills: Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word. high competency level in MS Office applications ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
