The Product Development Manager develops market plan(s) and on approval controls the implementation of all aspects of these plans. This position will provide technical advice and support customers and field staff during and after the sale of scientific products. This position identifies and implements technical solutions against business goals. Key Accountabilities Work with research and commercial brand to develop short- and long-term testing programs for experimental and commercial products and hybrids. Monitor development throughout the season, collecting biological information and data from field and strip plots. Develop and implements market plan(s) including market strategy, sales coordination, pricing proposal and distribution. In the position you will have to stay current with literature and analytical advancements and work with limited supervision on daily tasks. Identify product growth and new product opportunities modifing plans to meet opportunities. Manage technical service partners to identify customer needs and translate these into new product development opportunities. Analyze and interprets market data to take advantage of opportunities and minimize adverse trends. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Possesses comprehensive knowledge of products, tests, and marketing strategies Minimum of four years of related work experience Other minimum qualifications may apply PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree Understanding of the application of analytical instrumentation principles, concepts, practices and standards Prior experience in Product Management
