Job Description

Deploy FDC (Fault Detection & Classification) and other APC (Advanced Process Control) related applications to Muar DaVinci PEP lines.

FDC system is an independent set of instruments that works in parallel with production equipment, monitoring machine parameters behavior with more efficient analysis. FDC principle is to monitor continuously some parameters of the equipment, during pertinent time windows, to detect any potential drift or out of control. FDC approach is to move from curative mode to preventive mode, in order to be able to stop a production equipment and react before any incident can occur.

In this role, the job will include the following :

1. Define deployment roadmap

2. Provide input on hardware requirement for FDC, identification of critical tools for prioritization

3. Provide training and BKM (best known method) for deployment in Muar

4. Deployment execution with FDC vendors, IT (Central & Sites), R&D team, sites PCS leaders, and site process and equipment teams

Manage and Drive PCS (Process Control System) Continual Improvement

Innovate, together with R&D and Process Engineers, for optimization of process control solution using equipment signal (FDC)

- Engage BEMT site PCS to review PCS KPI and critical issues

- Analyze trends and data related to PCS

Setup of FDC satellite applications to support FDC deployment:

- Assess and deploy other satellite applications such as FDC control limit management and metrics reporting

- Assess deployment suitability for Front-End applications such as alarm management, recipe management and equipment constant control

Additional JD PCS:

Work with Process and equipment engineering for set up of FDC strategies. Setup and monitor the performance of FDC KPI

Profile

- A bachelor\'s degree in engineering

- Good understanding of Semiconductor process and APC application (Front End process and equipment knowledge preferred)

- Knowledge in macro programming and reporting applications such as PowerBI or Spotfire will be an added advantage

- Experience in configuration and maintenance on any Fault Detection Control system is a must

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye to details

- High degree of interpersonal skills and able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams

- Good communication and project management skills

- Able to work under tight timeline and fast-paced environment

- Min 3 years of experience in Process control system, especially in FDC

- Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability, FMEA and control plan and calibration
