*Company Background:* The industry in providing the best professional, heavy duty power tools, hand tools and accessories. *Position: Product Specialist* Working Location: Petaling Jaya Working Hours: Mon to Fri (9am to 6pm) *Salary Range: Up to RM 3500 (After confirmation will be entitloed RM550 Car Subsidy per month)* *Duties/ Responsibilities:* *\xe2\x80\xa2 Product & Marketing* - Support Product & Marketing team in product management activities. - Driving sales initiative in product portfolio. - Identifying of product opportunities & exploring potential industries for sell in & sell through. *\xe2\x80\xa2 Product Strategy Development & Implementation* - Develop capabilities to demonstrate range of products. - Assist in develop and drive sales activities by rolling out promo plan (quarterly & annually). - Identifying new commercial opportunities and driving growth across business activities. - Take the lead planning, organizing, and verifying new product research. - Conduct job site research and field testing to understand end users\xe2\x80\x99 needs and applications related to their industry categories / segments. - Conduct secondary market research and competitive analysis through data collection from numerous sources including the web, competitive literature, trade journals, trade associations and industry data. - Work with Malaysia Event, Brand marketing and Commercial teams to ensure successful new product launches and communications related to product benefits are delivered to distributors & End User. - Work with Product & Marketing team to ensure we have everything resourced and available to meet product launch schedule targets. - Support PM team in customizing launch kits that deliver a strong message on how we win to our customers. - Work with Malaysia Distribution partners and explore potential for new product opportunities to be promoted across various industry verticals. - Attend various trade shows, exhibitions, dealer events as product support. Co-ordinate / communicate with potential users attending trade shows, exhibitions and corporate events. - Develop capabilities to demonstrate the range of power tools and accessories to existing and new end users. - Complete detailed tracking and reporting of customer research data, customer feedback on demo samples, summary of suggestions for modifications, changes requested by customers. - Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as required by the superior from time to time.
