Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all machinery and equipment used in latex production are functioning properly.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Identify opportunities for upgrading or replacing outdated equipment.
Quality Control:
Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Conduct regular quality checks and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.
Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to latex manufacturing.
Production Planning:
Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, and other departments to develop new products or improve existing ones.
Train and supervise production staff to ensure they follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Cost Management:
Identify cost-saving opportunities in the production process without compromising quality.
Monitor production costs and implement measures to stay within budget.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and quality control tests.
Prepare reports on production performance, issues, and improvements for management.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in latex manufacturing.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and product quality.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Prefer at least 3-5 years of relevant latex manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA requirements and lean practice in manufacturing for Medical Devices.
Knowledge of latex manufacturing processes and equipment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:
Typically works in a manufacturing plant or factory setting.
May involve exposure to chemicals, machinery, and noise, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
May require working in shifts or extended hours to meet production deadlines
