Job Description

Production and Assembly:

Manage a team of technicians, welders, and fitters in MIG and TIG welding processes for agricultural implements. Conduct daily safety briefings and coordinate orders using the Sales Order Report system. Prepare weekly work schedules, set work standards, and report daily production outputs. Review and optimize product workflows for Pre-cut, Grinding, Welding, and Galvanizing processes. Ensure machine safety and efficiency by verifying maintenance checklists for CNC Machines, Bending Machines, and Band Saw Machines. Implement new policies, procedures, and instructions for welding processes to improve productivity. Participate in R&D for new project development. Collaborate with auditors for ISO 9001:2015 certifications and maintain compliance with quality standards. Streamline and standardize Bills of Materials (BOM).

Inventory

Design and implement automated tools to save time and labour. Source parts for new projects and existing product lines. Manage steel inventory and ensure the smooth flow of raw materials. Conduct cost analysis. Manage purchase orders and shipping schedules for international vendors.
Evaluate supplier reliability and maintain strong relationships to ensure supply chain effectiveness

Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in production management and sourcing roles. Proficiency in manufacturing processes (MIG/TIG welding, CNC operations) and inventory management. Strong skills in cost analysis, supplier negotiation, and purchase order management. Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001:2015) and safety compliance. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and experienced in creating automated tools to optimize workflows.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
