Duties & Responsibilities

To plan, schedule, monitor and implement each project in Mechanical / Electrical Assembly section and ensure its timely completion and QC inspection check list passing in sub and final assembly for QC Inspection up to clearing of punch list, getting the crane ready for pre-delivery inspection. Based on the assembly schedule issued by Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Head, to plan your resources to achieve the testing and delivery deadline. To distribute jobs fairly so that the skills and potential of your staff are fully utilized to the best of their abilities. To monitor the progress of works under you charge and take remedial action deemed necessary, so that work progress is control on schedule and contractual delivery deadline is meet. A production report to be issued to indicate progress of works. To keep open an information channel with Project Engineer, Electrical & Hydraulic Engineer or Design Engineer, taking an active role in trouble-shooting of technical problems, suggesting solutions and implementing them once they are incorporated in the drawings. To inspect the quality of works and supervise the Foreman & Line Leader so that they are active in using the checklist and procedures to check the quality of works produced by the team. Liaise with the Logistic Department for the planning of cranes usage and transportation for shifting works. Plan and control the utilization of cranes and transportation.

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical) or equivalent. Fresh graduates who are outgoing and have great interest in manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply. Excellent in spoken & written English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
