Production Engineer

to optimize our workflows, support daily production activities, and drive continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Job Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Develop and optimize machining processes, tooling setups, and production methods. Work closely with production supervisors and machine operators to resolve issues and improve efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing practices, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives. Prepare production schedules, capacity planning, and machine loading plans. Support new work instruction (WI) including process setup, documentation, and trials. Ensure quality standards are met and assist in root-cause analysis for defects. Maintain accurate production documentation, SOPs, and process control records. Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and improve machine performance. Ensure workplace safety, compliance, and best practices across the production floor.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 1-3 years experience in machining, fabrication, or general manufacturing (fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply). Hands-on experience with CNC machines, tooling, jigs & fixtures, or machining processes is an advantage. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues quickly. Familiar with production planning, workflow optimization, and lean methodologies. Good communication skills and the ability to lead or influence a team. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or production planning tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
