Job Description

Work closely with product development and manufacturing engineering department in understanding the design and working principle of the engineering system in our product. Ensure all documentation required for production processes, including references, work instruction, SOP, product manual and quality checkpoint documents are adequate and made available to the production team. Provide technical support and guidance to the technicians. Identify, collect data, analyse, and resolve production issues/challenges/problems. Conduct testing and validation of machine/automation systems to ensure functionality and performance meeting customer requirements. Perform machine and product buy-off . Perform data collection, data analysis and prepare report . Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during production processes. Implement corrective and preventive measures to ensure production issues are resolved effectively. Perform preparation tasks to ensure materials are available for production processes. Work with internal stakeholders, and execute production plan, to meet products delivery timeline. Identify and mitigate bottlenecks and operation issues related to production processes to meet KPI. Lead and champion continuous improvement projects and Lean Six Sigma improvement initiatives Lead and support the changes of methods and production processes to improve productivity and quality performance. Monitor production KPI, and take necessary action to drive improvements. Timely reporting to related stakeholders on processes and activity status, initiatives status, challenges, and risks to ensure effective management of activities. Monitor and proactively resolve production related issues and address potential risks that may impact the quality, cost, and delivery of products with effective solutions. Enforce and control compliance to safety, quality and productivity expectations. Perform 5S tasks to maintain and organize production environment.

Job Summary / Purpose:

Production engineer under Operations department is responsible to ensure production processes are being executed according to standards and accomplish comprehensive product buy-off. The responsibilities include, but not limited to, assembly, building, fixing, testing, buy-off, and packing machines, as well as troubleshooting and solving problems, enabling seamless integration of mechanical/electrical systems, and ensuring flawless execution of production procedures.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
