About the role

The primary role of the Production Executive is to oversee the whole spectrum of production operation in ensuring quality control and quality assurance. The Production Executive must have a good technical knowledge in order to support training for the operation, and should be skilled in analysing and evaluating this training requirement. He / she should have excellent planning and organisation skills and must have the tenacity to follow through on training plan activities. The Production Executive needs to have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a matrix organisation

Key responsibilities

• Assists in the development of production schedules with the Superior so that maximum productivity is achieved, quality standards are met, and customer delivery dates are achieved
• Call-off of raw materials in timely matter to avoid production / shipment delays
• Meet delivery time and quality in order to fullfill customer satisfaction
• Maintain standards of housekeeping and sanitation which are consistent with corporate standards
• Effectively manage the work force by managing the staff effectively in production-related areas
• Develops and implements the staff\'s training and development plans and performance appraisal
• Maintain safety standards consistent with statutory requirements and participate on the Safety Committee. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Corporate Safety Policy, safety organisation, regulatory and reporting requirements
• Responsible for the storage and processing of all raw materials so that yields are achieved in conformance with set standards. Ensure that processing equipment is operated at maximum capability. Maintains a current knowledge of new developments and modifications, which will bring continued improvement in productivity
• Presents accurate and timely production data in a form for Management use.
• To 100% follow SAP process & flow (System & Physical).
• Training: Provide necessary guidance or training & committed to company training.
• Communication: Effective two-way communication
• Continuous Improvement: To participate in continuous improvement activities as necessary.
• Quality: To ensure all works are done correctly, clear and good presentation.
• Health & Safety: To ensure health and safety is taken care at all the times.
• Customer (Internal / External): To understand the customer and consumer needs.
• To perform any task assign by the superior from time to time

• Bachelor degree in Engineering / Food Science / Microbiology / BioTechnology with related manufacturing experience
• Minimum 2 year supervisory experience preferably from a food / food ingredients manufacturing environment;
• Fresh graduates with good attitude / knowledge will be considered;
• Able to work in rotating shift
• Experience in manufacturing management
• Technical knowledge in food hygiene standards, HACCP and AIB requirement.
• Analytical, self-starter, independent, decisive and able to perform under pressure and a team player; strong leadership qualities, able to take instruction and perform work accordingly, committed and with good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent, resourceful and able to take pressure under fast pace work environment
• Exemplary leadership qualities and able to make difficult decisions
