Job Description

Job Scope / Responsibilities:

Assist Production Supervisor in daily production operations monitoring Record and update production data, including output, machine downtime, raw material usage, and wastage. Support quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards for dimensions, appearance, and strength. Participate in production process improvement projects, such as 5S implementation, productivity tracking, and workflow optimization. Learn and manage

BOM (Bill of Materials)

, understanding raw material ratios and inventory control. Gain basic

chemical knowledge

, learning about gypsum and additives properties and applications. Assist in

production planning and scheduling

, understanding workflow and production control. Coordinate with Warehouse and Maintenance teams for material handling and machine maintenance. Follow and learn

EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) procedures

to ensure a safe working environment. Prepare and organize daily / weekly production reports or data analysis. Participate in on-site problem-solving or Kaizen activities under supervision.

Requirements:

Diploma / Bachelor's student in

Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields

. Interested in

manufacturing processes, production management, or chemical formulation

. Able to work in a

factory environment

and willing to learn hands-on. Strong observation and data reporting skills. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel / Word

. Positive attitude, responsible, and eager to learn. Internship duration:

minimum 3 months

(preferably 4-6 months). Languages:

English / Malay

(Chinese is an advantage).

Learning Outcomes:

Gain practical exposure to gypsum product manufacturing processes. Learn

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Saturday (Alternate): 8.30am - 12.30pm
Intern Allowance: RM1700

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
