Job responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise daily line operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Monitor process parameters such as coating thickness, curing temperature, line speed, and raw material usage to ensure consistent quality output.
Coordinate with Assistant Production Manager, Maintenance, and Quality departments to resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
Lead and manage a team of operators, assign work duties, and ensure manpower allocation aligns with production requirements.
Ensure all operators are trained and competent in machine operation, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
Perform routine inspections on machines and equipment, and report abnormalities or breakdowns to the maintenance team.
Implement and monitor 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.
Conduct in-process quality random inspections, verify coating uniformity, adhesion, and surface finish according to specification requirements.
Maintain accurate production records, including output data, downtime analysis, and material consumption reports and so on.
Cooperate with and communicate with the expatriate team to unify process parameters and promote technological improvements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize coating efficiency.
Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of production operators, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and ensure safe working practices among team members.
Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by the Assistant Production Manager or Plant Manager.
Job requirements:
SPM and above.
At least 3-5 years of experience in line operations leader, with leadership experience. (Coating/paper core experience is an advantage.)
Strong understanding of production planning, quality assurance and process improvement principles.
Knowledge in process improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing is an advantage.
Analytical, detailed-oriented and results driven.
Able to work under pressure, and manage multiple production line efficiently.
