Your role is responsible for leading and ensuring smooth functioning of production department at the plant.

The role will also include:

Lead and manage the Production team

Drive Production performance to meet required SC KPIs and defined financial targets.

Drive change management and Continuous Improvement culture and mindset across Production team.

Support Plant Manager with CAPEX and FE - Fix Expenses budgeting and manage the expenses within the budget.

Ensure Production team follow safe work practise and it\xe2\x80\x99s 6S is at upmost tour condition all the time.

Responsible to identify and develop people capabilities and team competencies at operation by identifying the needed development and training programs

Lead the operation team on all the internal and external audits.

We are looking for a candidate with an Chemical Engineering Degree with specialisation in Manufacturing process and familiar with Paint Industry or someone who has relevant experience

Furthermore, we expect that you have:

University degree in chemistry or engineering field

Knowledge in operational excellence tools - LEAN/6 SIGMA/any other continuous improvement methodology

Knowledge of paint technology will be added advantage

Strong oral/written communication and presentation skill

Read, write and speak English

This position is based in Kluang, Malaysia
