Job Description

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for the technical management, supervision, control of production processes, ensuring that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.

Responsible for operations of production lines to meet or exceed Production objectives (Quality, productivity, net scrap, on time delivery and within financial budgets)

Responsible for developing (for HQ approval), implementing and maintaining engineering strategies that drive overall company achievement by making incremental measurable improvements in manufacturing methods, techniques, process, equipment, quality, cost reduction and productivity to ensure company growth.

Support recruitment and training activities for new and existing staff to meet the company's evolving manpower needs

Support Headquarters' Product Development Team to ensure a successful transition of products and process (including introduction of new equipment) from design to production

Responsible for managing and developing the maintenance and technical service team ( Facility & Equipment, production technicians) to ensure that Equipment & Maintenance objectives are met or exceeded (Yield, cycle time, down time).

Lead the team in solving production and equipment issues

Implement and maintain strategies established by HQ for the product lines' growth and customer satisfaction

Drive and support quality initiatives designed to obtain and maintain ISO-9001:2015 certification, and other related international certification requirements.

Prepare and present to HQ regular reporting of production/shipment schedule, productivity by product line, and availability of necessary human, material and equipment resources.

Support the organization as requested by HQ to ensure effective parallel production in Malaysia and other Group production sites.

Oversee raw material and auxiliary material inventories and movements

Review and perform in-depth analysis of the factory resources (human and equipment), production capacity of the factory to satisfy customer requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: University / Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or equivalent technical discipline) Specialization / Expertise: Experience in manufacturing high volumes of micro-components is a plus Knowledge of micro-coil winding and wire bonding is a plus Effective interpersonal and communication skills Planning and organization skills Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard Experience: At least 3-5 years management experience in Operations or Engineering Languages: English proficiency (written / spoken) IT skills: Microsoft office and Windows applications. Good command of Excel and Powerpoint is a plus
