Analyzes and implements working-methods for maximized productivity and efficiency (procedures & working instructions).
Responsible for overseeing all activities related to the complete manufacturing process.
Responsible for team performance and leadership as well as achievement of established Production goals and Key Performance Metrics (at local and global level).
Responsible for production scheduling (communicates with Customer Service, prioritizes customer demand and deliveries); requires to work with Materials team where scheduling reports into materials.
Develop and drive implementation of Lean solutions for efficient use of equipment and processes in production, emphasis on waste reduction, preventative maintenance for production equipment and machinery.
Active leader/promoter of company\'s key programs on Cultural Beliefs(PIL), Process Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), TWI, Safety and Best Practice Sharing.
Responsible for resource planning-capacity calculation (manning calculation and supports line balancing process).
Develop and update departmental production routing.
Departmental expert on routing and ensures routing meet global standards.
Coordinates and implements Production Training Programs (Job training/ Environmental/Safety/Security) to ensure talent can meet current and future departmental needs, including succession planning.
Develops department budget and maintain approved expense level with monthly reviews.
Successfully leads \xe2\x80\x9cTotal Cost of Ownership\xe2\x80\x9d analysis and global transfers between operations, assuring transfer flexibility without affecting service and quality of product.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor Degree/Master in manufacturing or equivalent.
Experience in managing Production Department (at least 5 to 10 years working experience), preferably with Molding machines experience.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
Ability and skills to effectively supervise and stimulate assigned staff.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form in local language, proficient in English.
Interacts frequently with team and functional peers.
Good judgement in methods/techniques/decisions.
Working of inventory systems preferred.
