Production Material Control (pmc) Manager
Job Description
Develop and implement material management strategies to optimise inventory levels, reduce costs and ensure timely delivery of materials
Forecast material requirements and work closely with procurement, production planning and other departments to align material supply with production needs
Monitor and analyse inventory data, identify trends and implement improvements to inventory control processes
Manage the work of the materials planning and logistics team, providing leadership, training and performance management
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, improve lead times and maintain a reliable supply chain
Ensure materials are stored and handled in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
Contribute to the continuous improvement of production planning and control systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,253.48 - RM13,059.59 per month
