Ensure the availability of raw materials to support daily and weekly production plans.
Monitor daily production activities and adjust the production plan as needed to meet targets.
Follow up on operation status, output, and delivery timelines, especially when capacity extension is required.
Compile production data and sales/delivery figures; submit weekly reports as requested by Marketing and Management.
Ensure all customer requirements are clearly communicated to the Executive prior to the start of production.
Monitor daily production, sales, stock levels, and work-in-progress (W.I.P.); reduce W.I.P. through accurate and timely planning.
Conduct weekly production meetings to ensure full alignment and commitment across all relevant departments.
Plan quarterly and monthly production capacity based on the latest sales forecasts.
Escalate any deviations from planned production targets to the Planning Manager, and collaborate with the production team to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Ensure accurate recording of all production data; investigate non-achievements and apply remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
Study production and process capabilities to enable precise and realistic planning.
Monitor stock status, stock ageing, and sales deliveries; update data records on a daily basis.
Plan and manage manpower requirements to ensure optimal workforce utilization.
Job Requirement
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skill:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP/MRP systems is a plus
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of production processes, workflow, and scheduling
Familiarity with inventory control and material planning concepts
Awareness of lean manufacturing, quality control, and safety practices
Eagerness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
Experience:
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Prior internship or academic project experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain is an added advantage.
1-2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or planning-related role is preferred but not mandatory.
