Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing all

production training activities

on the

shop floor

, ensuring operators are properly trained to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards while supporting departmental goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the

Assistant Training Manager

in implementing HR and training-related projects. Conduct

orientation and introduction training

for all new direct hires in the production area, incorporating safety standards. Develop the

knowledge, skills, and competencies

of operators at assigned workstations. Deliver

on-the-job training (OJT)

to ensure operators meet required performance standards. Ensure all production employees are adequately trained and

maintain training records

for

QMS (Quality Management System)

purposes. Evaluate operator performance, job efficiency, and adherence to work instructions and company policies. Manage and coach multiple new hires simultaneously. Perform

regular process audits

on personnel, tooling, and equipment on the shop floor.

Secondary Duties:

Prepare or update

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

and

Work Instructions (WIs)

when required. Submit

weekly and monthly training reports

. Maintain cleanliness and discipline within the

production area

. Follow management instructions for other assigned tasks. Perform any other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Good command of

English and Bahasa Malaysia

(other languages are an advantage). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented with good attendance. Knowledge of

ISO 9001:2000

and

QMS documentation

is an added advantage. Proficient in

Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

.

Qualifications

Minimum

SPM, Certificate, or Diploma

in any relevant field. Minimum

2 years of experience

in a similar position, preferably in a

manufacturing or production environment

.
