This company is seeking a Project Accountant to lead the delivery of quality financial management role of the Global Bilateral Project and Initiatives Programme. This role includes insuring that all project transactions are correctly accounted for, compliant with stakeholder expectations, documented and properly reported.

What you\'ll do:

As a Project Accountant, you will need to ensure financial records are submitted and financial information is entered in accounting system on time. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse global projects where you will assist from project initiation to project closing.

• Reconcile project bank accounts, subsidiary ledgers, and records with control accounts and relevant parties
• Ensure compliance of financial management with stakeholders\' financial rules and regulations
• Assist the Regional Finance and Operations Manager with financial and grants management, including annual work plan and budget
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting project activities to stakeholders

What you bring:
The ideal Project Accountant brings a strong experience in full sets of account and presentation skill. You must also possess the following:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent command of English language - both written and verbal
• Must be conversant with international accounting standards
• Experience of working with teams across geographical borders with strong sense of professionalism, business ethics and integrity
