The Project Assistant provides both technical and operational support to ensure projects are executed efficiently. This role requires strong technical capability to handle installation tools and equipment, effective coordination with team members, thorough documentation and reporting, and the ability to perform basic failure analysis to support troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Installation
Assist in installation, configuration, and testing of project-related equipment and systems (e.g., electronic devices, networking hardware, mechanical systems).
Ensure proper handling and operation of tools and equipment during installation works.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for on-site issues.
2. Failure Analysis & Problem Solving
Conduct preliminary failure analysis when equipment or systems malfunction.
Record and report observed issues, error patterns, and possible root causes.
Assist engineers and project managers in developing corrective actions and preventive measures.
Support testing and validation after problem resolution.
3. Coordination & Team Support
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth task execution.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to align schedules and resolve site issues.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including installation logs, test reports, and incident records.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for project managers.
Ensure technical documents and drawings are properly stored and updated.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, IT, or related technical discipline.
Hands-on capability with tools, equipment, and installation processes.
Basic knowledge of troubleshooting methods and failure analysis techniques.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with system installation (networking, electrical, or mechanical equipment).
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, schematics, or wiring diagrams.
Experience in recording and analyzing system or equipment failures.
Willingness to work on-site when required.

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
