Communicate and identify with Client on the needs, quality, deadlines and deliverables and to attend to (technical) crisis management for the project.
Liaise with Authorities, including preparing materials for presentation and procure information from Authorities and any governing bodies, on requirements and/or seek approval on design or construction aspects of the project.
Facilitate, coordinate and manage the Sub-consultants and Specialists Consultants, Design Team and Site Team to ensure timely and quality completion of the works for the preparation of documentation of different stages of services as applicable - Value Engineering, Tender Stage and Construction Stage.
Monitor works progress of Subconsultants and Specialist contractors/consultants - Surveyors/SI/EIA/TIA and verification of works for payment.
To liaise and coordinate with Client, Sub-consultants and KSSB Design Team on design/report/other necessary technical document submission, design reviews and audits by Client\'s office and external parties.
Play supportive role to the Project Manager (PM) and Resident Engineer (RE) to produce workflow structure with regards to defining the structure of communication and workflow processes and procedures for the major aspects of design and supervision for the WP.
To liaise and coordinate with the site and design teams for change drawings on design change and/or variation works for submission to and approval by Client.
Play supportive role to the Project Manager (PM) and Resident Engineer (RE) in reviewing works progress and reports for possible mitigation measures and contingency plans, if sought by Client and to keep tabs on issues/potential problems/mitigation measures that need to be addressed.
Review and verify WP Contractor\'s interim progress claims prepared by QS.
To assist RE in liaising with external parties including third party contractors of interfacing projects, adjacent land and structure owners on technical and contractual matters of the project scope and discipline.
Requirements :
Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of proven working experience in construction site supervision, ideally in road and bridge projects.
Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality assurance processes.
Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards.
