Project Engineer (mechanical)
Job Description
Responsibilities: 1. To ensure that projects are executed according to schedule 2. Coordinate & liaise with various related parties including customer, consultants, sub-contractors, site supervisors and safety supervisors on site to ensure project requirements are met 3. Coordinates with all project related personnel on day-today progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project. 4. Prepare Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan and Test Packages (as per contract requirements). 5. Actively attends the Site Progress/ Coordination Meetings. 6. Ensure Clients and QMS procedures, standards and guidelines are complied. 7. Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site. 8. Reviews project documents & creates RFIs in a timely manner 9. Issues PR when required. 10. Identify quality issues in the field and communicate them accordingly. 11. Continuous Improvement Process on Quality Documents by integrating IFW focused Lessons Learned from project execution 12. To conduct Safe Behavior Observation (SBO) 13. Actively assists project Engineer with enforcement of site safety and IFW. 14. Assist with investigation of dangerous occurrence, accidents/ incidents and near misses at work site with Project Manager and Safety Team. 15. Assist in Tender where necessary.
