JOB DESCRIPTION Nature of Job : Contract Duration (months) : 6 months Division / Department : Finance Transformation Location : Central Will report to : Head of Finance Transformation About the job Overall project responsibility - effectively managing the Business Support System (BSS) migration (i.e. Billing, CRM, Voucher Management System, Reporting & BI) encompassing GL, financial reports, tax and BI Work closely with relevant Finance team (Revenue Accounting, GL, Tax, Revenue Assurance) and project leads and process owners across all streams (Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit Risk Management, Marketing, Technology etc ) Ensure BSS system capabilities are in accordance with requirements of IFRS 15 Collect and analyze business requirements for the project. Subsequently able to translate it into functional & reporting requirements. Prepare business / functional requirements documents Identify functional gaps, perform business impact assessment with support from business users and work alongside project team consisting of technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) and SI (System Integrator) to finalize solution design aligned to business requirements Lead business users in end-to-end change management activities including Train-the-Trainer, End User Training and business readiness. Lead business users in preparation and execution of user acceptance testing Lead business users in preparation for data migration and cutover activities within Finance stream in coordination with project team Assist business users in resolving any project related gaps or issues impacting Finance & Accounting function Skills and experience required The candidate should possess: Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CPA At least 5 years of relevant experience, within finance, accounting & project management. Experienced in a Finance lead role in large & complex ERP and/or BSS project implementations. Knowledge in telecommunications billing, CRM & BI system is an added advantage Project migration experience in major system rollout is highly desirable Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills to manage multiple stakeholders for value & strategic prioritization Ability to identify process gaps and inefficiency and execute process improvement Ability to simplify and prioritize issues to their fundamental causes for resolution Ability to work under pressure in a complex cross-functional project environment Ability to determine clear decision rights and escalation processes & requires experience managing highly dynamic situations.
