Group Resilience is responsible for driving and delivering the Banks resilience capabilities spanning operational resilience, operational continuity in resolution, technology resilience, business continuity management and crisis management across the Bank. The role holder will support not only Group Resilience but will more broadly engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across other divisions in the Bank. The work not only ensures compliance to all Resilience regulatory requirements but also supports the Bank in delivering resilient services to our customers.
The role holder will primarily direct the delivery of the Group Resilience Transformation deliveries with responsibility for establishing and coordinating underlying workstreams and initiatives, along with resource and financial management to ensure successfully delivery of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Support the implementation and deliverables of Group Resilience Transformation in alignment with the Bank's strategic direction.
Business
Lead the management of programme initiatives associated with, and in alignment with the Group Resilience Transformation programme deliveries
Manage and provide oversight of programme delivery risk, issues and dependencies across the different workstreams and underlying initiatives
Create and deliver programme governance structure supporting programme implementation
Define programme implementation roadmap and lead programme change to drive implementation
Work closely with 1LOD business, 2LOD stakeholders across Coverage and SMEs teams, and functions across the Bank to manage overall delivery risk for the programme
Work with technology and architecture teams to ensure programme goals and deliveries are aligned with wider Bank technology strategy
Manage resource requirements and allocation across the programme and initiatives
Conduct and drive the implementation of Group Resilience Transformation by aligning with T&O QPR requirements
Governance
Represent Group Resilience Transformation at related governance forums/committee where required
Responsible for the delivery of governance reports as required
Risk Management
Drive compliance with Group policies standards, and regulatory requirements globally
Understand and assess the impact of changes in the policy or standards, related to Group Resilience, including Operational Resilience, OCIR, Technology Resilience, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Management
Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure the impact is understood and appropriately implemented
Perform proactive risk identification and monitor Group Resilience profile. Report any non-compliance to senior management or governance committees
Validate the accuracy and consistency of KRIs, KCIs and other risk ratings/assessments, as well as process designs
People & Talent
Promotes new thinking, creative solutions to ensure timely and effective delivery of the programme milestones including management of financial and operational risks.
Promotes lean start-up product development mindset and behaviours at scale
Facilitate on-the-job learning from current & previous experience by identifying and communicating transferable lessons, helping to embed these lessons, and encouraging best practice across geographies team
Be a self-starter who is able to initiate and successfully drive programmes and projects to completion with little management supervision
