About the role

Responsible to manage the implementation of any new logistics project secured and relocation of existing operations.

What you will be doing

Project Management

  • Manage the implementation of logistics project secured on various aspects
  • Develop project scopes and objectives during the project initiation phase.
  • Set up detailed project plan to track progress in accordance with the project methodology and requirements/ regulations as agreed with the customer.
  • Signal bottlenecks, initiate solutions and monitor the progress of projects to ensure all projects are delivered on-time within scope and budget.
  • Conduct internal project meetings and report to the Steering Committee as needed regarding the project.
  • Organize business requirements workshop between Customers teams, Information System, Regional team and Operations / Key Users
  • Follow-up IT developments and WMS setup/configuration with the Information System team Project Manager
  • Coordinate with purchasing for suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 selections and site renovation/installation
  • Coordinate with HR on the resources hiring (both operational recruitment and resources allocated to the project)
  • Identify the potential risks that might bring negative impact to the project and develop the contingency plan
  • Evaluate project performance
  • Closure of the project and handover to Operations
QHSE Compliance
  • Development & training of your team in-conjunction with QHSE training program.
  • Managing QSHE program for the logistics site including reporting / auditing and system compliance.
  • Overseeing the warehouse and ensure that the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards and procedures are being met and followed.
  • Comply with all BL QHSE Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
  • Support all company QHSE promotions and initiatives.
  • Keep informed all QHSE information provided by the company in accordance with any legislation, code of practice and guidelines and liaise as necessary with the relevant government departments and private bodies.
  • Immediately, in the event of an accident, dangerous occurrence, or a risk of imminent and serious injury or harm to the health of any person at the workplace, report the matter to your immediate superior.
  • Report to your superior any hazard or potential hazard to which any person is, or might be, exposed to at the workplace.
  • Carrying out any other request made by immediate superior.

Requirements The successful candidate
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in supply chain logistics; project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent experience as a project manager
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in 3PL
  • Good analytical ability and solution-oriented
  • Creative and flexible with business acumen skills and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Demonstrate good communication and social skills with an excellent customer-oriented mindset and behavior.
  • Conflict resolution experience
