Job Responsibilities
Manage project design for various development types, leads conceptualization process
Engage actively and timely during stages of preliminary design & design development
Work closely with the development heads to create solid market-driven project concepts that integrate budget requirement, quality, post-completion planning and marketability
Ensure entire design process and delivery are in line with expected business outcomes in terms of target, cost, quality and time, endorses and approves construction drawings
Lead design meetings with design firms and design team, manages relationships with external consultants and coordinates with all disciplines involved in the projects (such as architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interior design or landscaping), control accuracy of design deliveries and challenges third parties' ideas constructively
Coordinate site inspections and authority clearances, monitors progress of on-site
Report negligence of external parties, protect interests and integrity of the company
To manage all aspects of design process, construction, administration and document for project
Project programming from schematic stage to handover of project
Project programming for Consultancy and Design & Build projects
To ensure the process of project implementation and Construction are well manage and properly documented
To ensure all deadlines and schedules in the site are met
To ensure the quality of construction documentation and workmanships
To ensure drawings are checked for design and technical integrity before issuing out
Managing all aspects of the contract and budget control
Weekly progress reports
Attending client's consultant meeting and site meeting
Coordinate and manage samples and mock-up submissions and approvals
Monitor trade contractors' and suppliers' progress, conformance and quality, snag lists
Handover defects list
