Client Background: A Malaysia company with head office in Butterworth. It was incorporated in year 2003 as a building and construction company focusing primary on providing reliable expertise and committed human resources to the construction industry (Piling and Foundation base job).

In response to the challenges and new market directions in the construction industry, the company has formed strategic alliances with other groups, drawing on their various expertise to broaden and to encompass a larger array of services such as project management, specialized construction system and support structures.

Position Title: Project Manager

Tenure: Contract (1 year renewable)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and managing project teams, ensuring that all members are working collaboratively and efficiently towards the project goals.
  • Responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensuring that all team members understand the project\'s goals.
  • Creates project plans and schedules, including tasks, timelines, and milestones, and ensures that the project is progressing according to plan.
  • Manages project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs to ensure that the project remains within budget.
  • Communicates regularly with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management, to keep them informed about the project\'s progress and any issues that arise.
  • Identifies potential risks and develops plans to mitigate them, ensuring that the project stays on track.
  • Ensures that all project deliverables meet quality standards and that the project meets client expectations.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior, helping them to develop their skills and improve their performance.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma with 9 years relevant working experience, or a Bachelor Degree with 5 years relevant working experience.
  • At least 5 to 9 years of working experience in the Piling/ foundation job/ Construction field.
  • Must possess valid CIDB license.
  • Site experience is essential. Responsible to undertake site inspections and give solutions on site to ensure smooth process of Fit-out Coordination works with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants till project handover.
  • Experience in handling project cost control and wastage control.
  • Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently and results oriented.
  • Able to meet deadlines and maintain a consistent high standard of work, have strong commitment, responsible and self-motivated.
  • Able to perform under fast paced and stress environment.
  • Must possess own transport.
  • Must willing to travel and based on site (all around Malaysia).
