Job Description


\xe2\x80\xa2 The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple aspects of the planning, design, budget, renovation, and installation processes for the Project Management Unit in Facilities Management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Led development of project scope, budget, timeline, and obtained necessary approvals \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborating with Purchasing Department on RFP development and contractor selection \xe2\x80\xa2 Serving as the point of contact between management and external consultants/contractors \xe2\x80\xa2 Facilitating project meetings with respective management and contractors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keeping management informed of project status, communicating any issues which impact project delivery. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring proper close-out of all projects, including final punch list and close-out documents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversees work of architects, engineers, contractors, and other external service providers: Selecting appropriate consultation specific to the needs of the projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviewing service proposals contracts and negotiating pricing Managing performance under the contract. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinates review and approvals of design documents and cost estimates. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring adherence to halal policies, procedures, safety guidelines and constructions safety procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Obtains necessary approvals for job approval, change orders, and invoice. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist with capital planning by: Identifying project needs and deficiencies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Estimating project needs Classifying and prioritizing major projects Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient with Microsoft office applications \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent organizational skills Must have a valid driver\'s license. \xe2\x80\xa2 A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus 3 years of related experience, an Associate degree plus professional license (General Contractor, Building Inspector) plus 3 years of related experience, or other equivalent combination of education and experience.
