Our direct procurement department in Port Klang, Malaysia is now looking for a Project Procurement Lead

What will you be doing?

• Manage and control a team of buyers for procurement execution.

• To take lead to execute sourcing strategy from Regional and CoE
• To manage and control procurement activities (including RFQ, bidding evaluation, supplier selection, PO approval and issuance, supplier delivery) are carried out in accordance to Aker Solution policy and procedures.
• To delegate, plan and organize procurement activities to respective buyers.
• To ensure sufficient and competent resources to support procurement activities
• To establish and maintain frame agreements within key suppliers.
• To drive continues improvement KPI on supplier's quality, delivery, cost and HSE.
• To coordinate priority issues highlighted which related to procurement activities.
• To ensure buyers are maintaining procurement information (delivery date, lead time, standard price, etc) in SAP
• To support tender activities on materials costing
• To review and check accuracy of Purchase Order prior manager approval.
• To periodically review Order Progress Report with Material Planner and take necessary action when required.
• To take on task as Buyer if required.
• To demonstrate through example of high commitment and alignment with value of Aker Solutions Vision is to be the preferred partner for all stakeholders, through: HSE Mindset Customer Drive Hands-on Management Delivering Results Open and Direct Dialogue People and Teams

We think you should have:

Qualification

• Minimum a degree in any Engineering, Supply Chain or Management discipline

Experience

• Minimum 5 years as a buyer / senior buyer, preferable in international Oil and Gas experiences

Abilities and knowledge

• Good understanding on supply base for oil and gas industries preferable Subsea's materials.
• Ability to manage group of buyer, good leadership skills, able to negotiate and communicate at all levels.
