Are you the ONE we\'re looking for We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Public Relations Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who will work closely with our global tech client. You will be responsible for planning and executing client communications strategies, across Mutant\'s PR and Content teams. You\'ll be responsible for influencers\' engagement, planning, and execution of PR programs and initiatives. You will support the public relations team in day-to-day media relations, media monitoring, as well as content development and reporting. Someone who is confident yet brings with them an awesome personality who thrives working in a fast-paced environment with a growing team. What you\'ll be doing: Project management and strong execution to ensure all PR activities are delivered according to the client\'s budget and timelines, achieving established KPIs are your strong suit. You\'ll be planning, implementing, analyzing, and optimizing all PR activities from formulation through to execution, focusing on influencers\' engagement and the client\'s business, aligning them with key business objectives Preparing regular client reports, researching, writing, and distributing press releases and content to targeted media is your strong suit. You\'ll be monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs, for opportunities for clients. You\'ll grow to rely on influential voices in Malaysia for photography, videography, health, fitness, creative, music, entertainment, education, and parenting. You\'ll handle influencer briefings, manage inquiries, keep our influencer list and profiles up-to-date, and smoothly navigate crisis and reactive PR situations while responding to influencer inquiries. You\'ll help with managing PR inventory; keep track of devices and accessories, update the tracking spreadsheets on a timely basis, and coordinate for delivery and pick up. You\'ll proactively manage potential public issues, media strategies, and business development, while also nurturing professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and the media. You\'ll support event management (not limited to press conferences, promotional events, Studio coordination, and/ or site recce). What you need to be successful in this role: You have 2-4 years of experience in PR (preferably in an agency environment). You bring along strong experience in Tech PR (both B2B and B2C) You have a track record in managing PR strategies that drive clients\' business You\'re no doubt a confident self-starter and able to drive conversations at the C-suite level You have a solid understanding of the issues and opportunities in the communications industry You have an excellent command of the English language as well as Bahasa Melayu. You\'re meticulous and possess a high level of organizational skills You have experience managing clients, project timelines, and budgets. Communicating effectively across all levels with clients, colleagues, and other regional team members.
