- To continuously strive for cost reduction programs. - To establish a good supply chain management-ensuring good support from vendors in meeting the company\xe2\x80\x99s and dept\xe2\x80\x99s desired objectives. - To maintain a low in-house inventory level through vendor management. - To minimize parts obsolescence in Store. - To ensure high performance from vendors in the area of parts delivery, parts quality and responsiveness to demand changes. - To continuously review high value items and work with vendors on cost reduction programs on a quarterly basis. - To ensure that all Purchase Orders raised are issued to vendors on time. - To expedite from vendors on parts delivery. - To review with vendors on parts quality issues and ensures that corrective & preventive actions are taken by vendors. - To ensure that in-house Store has sufficient stocks to cover for Sales requirement. - To achieve high level of accuracy in documentation-esp in pricing and quantity stated in PO raised to vendors. - Constant and close follow up on required for sales orders and production requirements. - To review all \xe2\x80\x9cslow-moving or no-move items\xe2\x80\x9d in the Store and work with vendors on how to clear these potential obsolete items. - To establish a good working relationship with vendors to ensure their strong support required to meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s demand changes. - Generate required reports for Management review. - To tally the invoice value against purchased value.
