About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join the dynamic team at GF Technology Sdn Bhd. Based in our Bayan Lepas, Penang office, this full-time role is responsible for executing all purchasing activities to support the operations of our manufacturing and logistics divisions.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, manage deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment actions to ensure stock availability Assist with data entry, ensuring the accuracy of supplier invoices, delivery orders and purchase order Follow up with supplier to ensure the timely delivery of ordered items. Support the implementation of purchasing policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement Other duties and assignments as instructed by superior from time to time

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to work with figures and data with a high degree of accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office suite A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field would be an advantage

Pay: RM1,528.71 - RM3,697.83 per month
