We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented

Purchasing Clerk

to join our team. The successful candidate will support the purchasing department by handling procurement tasks, maintaining supplier records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials required for plating operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, chemicals, and consumables used. Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions. Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any supply issues. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in the system. Coordinate with the production and warehouse departments for material planning and stock levels. Conduct price comparison and negotiate with suppliers for better cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Follow up on outstanding orders and update delivery schedules accordingly.

Academic Qualification, Skills & Experience:

Academic Qualification:

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Skills Required:

Good communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory control procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role. Experience in the plating / metal finishing / manufacturing industry is preferred.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
