Job Responsibilities

Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of materials, supplies and equipment required by the company. Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) accurately and on time. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, confirm pricing, negotiate terms and follow up on delivery schedules. Maintain and update supplier records, price lists and product information. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment based on stock requirements. Work closely with warehouse and accounts departments to ensure smooth delivery and invoice processing. Verify and match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery orders. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and ensuring compliance with company standards. Handle any supply issues, delays or discrepancies and escalate when necessary. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all purchasing-related records. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of purchasing experience are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of purchasing procedures, supply chain and inventory control is an advantage. Good communication and negotiation skills. Able to work independently with strong attention to detail. Computer literate. Able to speak, read and write in Mandarin.

Additional Skills (Optional)

Knowledge in sourcing suppliers locally and internationally. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
