Job Summary:

Responsible for handling purchasing activities, sourcing materials and supplies, and ensuring timely delivery and collection of goods using the company lorry. This role combines procurement duties with driving responsibilities to support the company's daily operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:Purchasing Duties:

Source and purchase raw materials, spare parts, and general supplies as per company requirements. Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Prepare and process purchase orders, delivery orders, and related documentation. Maintain good relationships with vendors and ensure timely delivery of goods. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store or production department for restocking needs. Follow up on pending orders and resolve any delivery or quality issues. Ensure all purchases comply with the company's procurement policy.

Driving / Delivery Duties:

Operate company lorry for delivery and collection of goods, materials, or equipment from suppliers and clients. Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time. Load and unload items safely and efficiently. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, water, tires) and ensure the lorry is in good working condition. Report any vehicle defects or accidents immediately to the superior. Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the vehicle.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent. Valid GDL (Goods Driving License) and clean driving record. At least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing and/or driving roles. Good knowledge of routes and locations within the operation area. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading duties.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
