who is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in vendor management to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end purchasing processes, negotiate with local and overseas suppliers, and ensure smooth material flow to support production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers for best quality, price, delivery, and service terms.
Maintain up-to-date purchasing records, supplier data, and pricing information in the system.
Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor deliveries to ensure material availability for production schedules.
Track and assess supplier performance, providing periodic reports on delivery, quality, cost efficiency, and service levels.
Review purchasing plans based on stock levels, lead times, market conditions, and potential price fluctuations.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines.
Coordinate closely with stock control and operations teams to minimize overstocking and manage slow-moving inventory.
Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure smooth operational integration.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum
3-5 years
in a manufacturing or industrial purchasing role.
Skills:
Strong communication (English & Bahasa Melayu) -- written and verbal.
Excellent negotiation, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
Capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with
inventory and materials management
systems.
Others:
Willing to travel within Malaysia or overseas when required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
