Purchasing Manager Are you an experienced Purchasing professional who wants to work in a high-tech company with origin from Sweden? Do you have a passion to lead direct material purchases and establish process for operational purchasing activities? If the answer is yes, keep reading as this may be just the right position for you. We are looking for a solution orientated Purchasing Manager for our newly established factory in Seremban for underground loading & hauling equipment. Your primary areas of responsibility. • Member of the Seremban site management team
• Establishing and developing the purchasing activities for the Seremban factory together with sourcing, suppliers, and other functions in the factory
• Recruiting and leading a team of purchasing professionals
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of purchasing operations, responsibility includes component purchases and material flows from suppliers to Seremban factory
• Your goals include managing and improving inventory turns, supplier delivery performance, lowering net working capital, developing modern procure-to-pay process, and securing shortage free factory production
• Ensuring the efficiency and timelines of material flows for both internal and external customers, supplier capacity and continuous cooperation
• Participating and leading purchasing area development projects
• Main performance indicators in the positions are supplier on-time-delivery, days-in-inventory and supplier cooperation including forecasting and lead-times

Your background and what we find important

• Suitable master\'s or bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 degree
• At least 5 years of experience in Sourcing or Purchasing field preferably in manufacturing environment
• Some expertise of the supply base in the region
• Proven track record with results in development of material management processes
• Previous experience in factory logistics, warehousing operations or freight management is an advantage
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills are highly valuated
• Your way of working is analytical and structured, and you can prioritize
• A systematic and solution orientated mindset and the ability to establish and implement development plans are essential to be successful in the job
• The willingness to travel
