Requirements

• Prefer candidates with 1 to 2 years working experience in related field
• Candidate must possess at least SPM / STPM / Diploma in purchasing or related field
• Required language: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
• Candidate fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients and suppliers.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to work independently.

• Manage purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
• Perform inventory inspection and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve errors on purchase orders as required.
• Source materials, goods, products and services and negotiate the best or most cost effective contracts and deals.
• Inspect stock and report any fault items or inconsistently immediately.
• Investigate and determine what/how/why material came in incorrectly or damaged (for non-conformances).
• Maintain updated records of all orders, payments and received stocks.
• Monitor price increases and communicate changes as necessary (applicable for material).
• Review line points/order points for inventory stock levels.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments or duties assigned and when required.
